New London - Lawrence & Memorial Hospital’s public relations department is seeking individuals willing to be interviewed on camera for a video commemorating the hospital’s 100th anniversary.
The hospital is seeking those who want to share personal stories about how L&M has had a positive impact on their life. L&M employees also will be interviewed for the video.
“Given its 100-year history, L&M has no doubt played a part in many individual or family stories over the years,” Michael O’Farrell, the hospital’s director of public relations, said. “Since it’s our centennial year, now seems the right time to capture those stories and memories from both our staff and the general public and then share them with the same groups when the project is completed.”
Interviews will take place on March 1 and 2, in the patient education room in The Wave Café, adjacent to the hospital’s main lobby.
Anyone willing to be interviewed must schedule an appointment by calling O’Farrell at (860) 271.4838 or sending an email to: mofarrell@lmhosp.org. Interviews will be conducted between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days.
The video will be shown at the hospital’s Centennial Gala May 19 at Mohegan Sun. It also will be available for viewing online. Being interviewed does not guarantee inclusion in the final video.
