UPDATED: 3 brothers, several men arrested in Norwich prostitution sting

Norwich — Police arrested six men, including three brothers, during a Thursday afternoon undercover sting targeting illegal prostitution.

Police conducted the sting at 4 p.m. in the area of Boswell Avenue after receiving numerous complaints from area residents.

The following were arrested for patronizing a prostitute from a vehicle:
Julio A. Santos, 20, of 281 State St. New London; Eugene L. Mann, 56, of Storrs; Charles K. Clarke, 55, of 5 McCalley Place, Uncasville; Andrew S. Patterson, 18, of Sea Brook, N.H.; Clark R. Patterson, 23, 93-99 Chestnut St., Apt. E; and Kenneth J. Patterson, 23, of 93-99 Chestnut St., Apt. E.

Police said the Pattersons are brothers.

Each of the accused were released on a $2,500 bond and are scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on March 29.
