Norwich – Police arrested two city men on multiple drug charges Thursday morning after conducting surveillance in the Taftville area.
Ezekiel Boyce, 36, of 51 Division St., was charged with sale of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with the intent to sell and possession of marijuana.
Also arrested was David A. Matthews, 26, of 51 Division St., who was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to sell, possession of crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine with the intent to sell. Police also held a warrant for Matthews’ arrest on two counts of sale of heroin.
Police seized a small amount of crack cocaine and heroin packaged for street-level sales, as well as $480 in cash.
Boyce is held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Friday.
Matthews is held on $200,000 bond and also is scheduled to appear on Friday in Norwich Superior Court.
