In the May 15 issue of The Day, a retired professor expressed his grievances with Bishop Michael Cote, the pope and a litany of issues. Perhaps the learned professor should establish a new religion conforming to his own personal theology.

He states that "For every new Catholic entering the church, four defect." Well, so what? The wheat is separated from the chaff, the gold from the gravel. Scripture tells us that many of Jesus' followers left him because they couldn't accept His teaching on the Eucharist. He didn't soften His words, only saying to those remaining, "Will you also leave me?" Loyal Catholics pray that our conservative pope, cardinals, bishops, priests, nuns and deacons remain steadfast in opposition to evil.

President Obama abetted by his cabal of "Catholic" Judas goat minions has embarked on an unprecedented attack on religious freedom. If churches can be coerced to act against their principles, the assault will be aggressively expanded. It is apparent where Obama's latest strategy supporting sodomite marriage is headed. How long will it be before homosexuals demand to be married in Catholic or other conservative churches?
