Catch a flicker or two

Hygienic Art presents its fourth season of outdoor movie screenings on Wednesday nights, June through September, at the Hygienic Art Park at 79 Bank St., New London. Summer Flickers presents a wide array of titles, from family fare to cult classics and more. All screenings are open to the public and begin at 8 p.m. (except Sept. 12, which begins at 7:30 p.m.).

Summer Flickers kicks off June 13 with "The Last Waltz," Martin Scorcese's portrait of The Band's last concert in 1976. The film for June 20 is "Casablanca," followed by "The Princess Bride" on June 27.

Other films in the series include "Jaws" (July 4); "Singin' in the Rain" (Aug. 8) and "The Big Lebowski" (Sept. 19). For a full schedule, contact the Hygienic at (860) 857-6337.
