OpSail forecast: Sunny, warm but a chance of thunderstorms

The National Weather Service is predicting mostly sunny and warm weather for OpSail weekend, though also forecasting a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday.

Sunny weather is expected today with a high near 84 degrees. Tonight should be partly cloudy with a low around 75, according to the weather service.

Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 90 degrees. There is, however, a slight change of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, high around 69, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

The forecast for Sunday calls for a high near 81, with partly sunny skies and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
