The Connecticut Sun conclude the first half of the WNBA season at the Chicago Sky tonight (Allstate Arena, 8:30 p.m.) in an Eastern Conference game.

The league goes on break from Saturday until Aug. 16 because of the Summer Olympics.

Connecticut (14-4) is atop the Eastern Conference and holds a 3.5-game lead over the Indiana Fever, who were beaten by the Los Angeles Sparks 77-74 on Thursday night.

The Sun have won four straight games and have been led by their big three of center Tina Charles (18.3 ppg, 11.2 rpg), forward Asjha Jones (13.1 ppg, 7.7 rpg) and guard Kara Lawson (14.9 ppg, 3.6 apg).

Chicago (8-8) has lost seven of its last eight since leading-scorer Epiphanny Prince broke a bone in her right foot.

The Sky have one of the WNBA's most physically dominant player in 6-foot-6 center Sylvia Fowles. She's shot 62.8-percent from the floor and averaged 18.4 points, a league-leading 12.5 rebounds and 1.19 blocks.

Forward Swin Cash has averaged 10.4 points for Chicago.

Cash, Charles, Fowles and Jones will all play for the USA Basketball team, coached by UConn's Geno Auriemma. The team also features UConn alumi Sue Bird, Maya Moore and Diana Taurasi.
