Shopkeepers strike

A shopkeeper looks out from inside a closed shop during a 12-hour general strike called by radical Hindu group Bajrang Dal Monday in Gauhati, India. The strike was to protest the recent ethnic violence that killed at least 80 people and displaced 400,000. Bajrang Dal also demanded sealing of the India- Bangladesh border to stop the ongoing violence.
