Norwich restricts traffic for Election Day

Norwich – Traffic on Stanton Avenue on Tuesday will be limited to one way due to the heavy volume of voters expected at Bishop School, police said this afternoon.

Bishop School is the voting location for residents of District 5 and available parking for voters is accessed from Stanton Avenue. Under normal conditions, police said, Stanton Avenue allows for two way traffic between Hamilton Avenue and East Main Street.

On Tuesday, Stanton Avenue will be accessible running only one way from East Main Street and exiting out onto Hamilton Avenue.

Bishop School is on 526 East Main St.
