We are pleased to feature Nancy Harwood, a jewelry designer, who utilizes handmade African Kazuri beads in necklaces and earrings, as well as hand-blown glass beads in her jewelry. Kazuri, meaning small and beautiful in Swahili, are ceramic beads made by Kenyan women and are a fair trade item. Come and hear Nancy tell her story about these beads and her recent summer visit to Africa and her tour of the Kazuri workshop.
In addition to Nancy we will have Yummy Hummy, a local hummus producer, in house offering samples (and with stock available to sell) of their delicious and good for you product.
