Norwich — The registrars of voters will conduct a recount of the John M. Moriarty School voting precinct results at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

The precinct was one of 75 voting places chosen at random by the Secretary of the State's office for a mandatory audit of election results. Optical scanner ballots will be hand-counted to compare results with the scanning machine from election night.

If necessary, the recount will continue at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

For more information, contact Norwich registrars at (860) 823-3754.
