Mike Krzyzewski and Geno Auriemma have been chosen USA Basketball coaches of the year after leading the U.S. teams to Olympic gold medals.

Krzyzewski guided the U.S. men to a second straight gold and was honored for the fifth time by USA Basketball. He also shared the award with Auriemma in 2010, after the Americans won gold in both the men's and women's world basketball championships.

Krzyzewski, who coaches the Duke men, also won the award in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Auriemma, the Connecticut women's coach, led the U.S. women to their fifth straight Olympic gold medal, most ever in a traditional women's team sport.

Both coaches have said they don't expect to return.
