Harris

The children of David and Letha Harris are pleased to announce the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents, who were married on Dec. 29, 1962, in Madison, Wis.

Letha is the daughter of the late Capt. and Mrs. Peter J. Smenton of Quaker Hill. She is a 1958 graduate of New London High School and received a bachelor of arts degree from Brown University. David is the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Harris of Sparta, Wis. He is a 1958 graduate of Sparta High School and attended the University of Virginia and Northwestern University Medical School.

Dr. and Mrs. Harris have four daughters, Tye (Steven) Blackshaw of London, England, Tracy (Rusty) Bernabo of Ashland, Va., Jennifer (Hurst) Kelley of Richmond, Va., and Caroline (Hugh) Kelley of Quincy, Mass. They have eleven grandchildren, Rory Blackshaw, Nadia Blackshaw, Ton Blackshaw, Lorelei Kelley, Rowan Kelley, Merritt Kelley, Isabel Kelley, Schuyler Kelley, Saoirse Kelley, Felix Kelley and Rosalie Kelley.

Their children are honoring this event by celebrating with family and friends at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Va., on Dec. 29, 2012.
