Crystal Mall names new marketing director

Ashley Keating of Mystic has been named director of marketing and business development at the Crystal Mall.

Keating will be responsible for all business development, media, events and marketing efforts, including digital marketing and social media for the Waterford shopping center. She previously held a marketing position at Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers, Mass.

A native of Boston, Keating has a bachelor of communication studies degree from Merrimack College and is a member of Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut.

The mall is owned by Simon Property Group Inc., the nation's largest developer and owner of shopping malls.
