Injured passengers, above, await further care after a ferry crash Wednesday at Pier 11, at South Street and Gouverneur Lane, in New York. The high-speed ferry Seastreak Wall Street crashed as it was docking in Lower Manhattan Wednesday morning, injuring at least 57 people, according to emergency officials. Scores of people who had been standing, waiting to disembark, were hurled to the deck or launched into walls by the impact, which came after the catamaran slowed following a routine trip across New York Bay and past the Statue of Liberty, passengers said.
