Lyme Art Association hosts associate artist show

Published January 15. 2013 4:00AM

It's always fun to make a Gallery Night excursion - flitting from art opening to art opening. Unless your plans are torpedoed when there's so much good stuff in one gallery that you blow the schedule. Consider the brilliance of Friday's dual show reception taking place at the Lyme Art Association in Old Lyme. Not only are they celebrating their "21st Annual Associate Artist Exhibition," but also a show called "A Contemporary Look" (which includes Lori Warner's "Wetland," shown here). The reception takes place from 5-7 p.m. Both exhibits run through Feb. 23. Hours 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Sat., 1-5 p.m. Sun. 90 Lyme St., Old Lyme. (860) 434-7802, lymeartassociation.org.
