Last year, Markos restaurant left Narragansett, where it had built a loyal following, and moved to Westerly. One of The Day’s restaurant reviewers, Jill Blanchette, wrote “Narragansett’s loss truly is Westerly’s gain.” (Read the review here.) Just last month she picked it as one of her favorite restaurants of 2012, calling it “swarthy and bold.”
Now, the restaurant, which features Arabic, Greek and Mediterranean dishes, has packed up the moving van again and headed back down Route 1. According to its Facebook page, Markos has moved back to its original Narragansett location. No reason was given.
