It has been suggested that one way to prevent school violence is to arm teachers. That got me to thinking. Sister Scholastica could be pretty tough, even scary sometimes. But somehow I can't imagine her strapping on a Glock, and when confronted with an assault rifle toting intruder assuming a combat stance and blowing him away.
The more-guns-mean-less-violence crowd needs to rethink that idea.
