If you're going to have an art show with 20 artists and more than 120 displayed pieces, well, that's a helluva lot of art-ness. Perhaps the best way to ensure it receives its due is to stretch that baby over several weeks and don't have just one reception; have two!
That's how it'll work with "The Salon Show" at Six Summit Gallery in Ivoryton. (Shown above is Jeremy Wilson's "Copy of Respects.") The exhibition opened Jan. 15 and has its First Grand Reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, with a Second Grand Reception from 6 to 9 p.m. March 15. Runs through April 15. Hours are 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Wed. and Thurs., 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Fri., 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sat., and noon-5 p.m. Sun. at Six Summit Gallery, 6 Summit St., Ivoryton.
