I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I read the article, "Police chiefs plan to raffle off guns," (Jan. 13). The New Hampshire Association of Police plan to raffle off semiautomatic weapons and other firearms to raise money for a youth training academy.

How inhumane can some people be? I guess the mass shooting in Newtown doesn't weigh on their minds or hearts. It does mine.
