Eastern chamber seeks award nominees

The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is seeking nominations for Small Business of the Year and Community Revitalization Leader of the Year. The deadline for submission is Jan. 30.

In order to be eligible for the small business award, the company needs to have fewer than 250 employees and annual gross revenue of under $10 million.

The award for the community revitalization leader should consider a number of criteria, including the expense and size of the project in question, employment, impact on the environment, among others.
