Two points about the national firearms debate.
One: "Rather than the term, "gun control" I would think "gun regulation" to be a more accurate depiction. After all "well regulated" is in the Second Amendment everyone is talking about.
Two: In the recent Day article "Gun makers, clubs add voices to debate over gun violence," (Jan. 17), advocate Robert Cook stated that high-capacity magazines are used for "fun" and, "It's like bowling." I was left wondering how firing off hundreds of rounds of ammunition could possibly be like bowling.
But of course! "Bowling for Columbine."
