Skate for free with food donation

Citizens Bank and New London Main Street present Outskate Hunger, a new program that begins Feb. 1 at the Rink at Parade Plaza. Supporting the Gemma E. Moran United Way Labor Food Center, the community is invited to skate for free with the donation of a non-perishable food item on Feb. 1, 8, 15 or 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The rink will remain open through early March, Monday through Friday from 3 to 8 p.m., Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
