A play in one day, via Mayfly Playhouse 24

This is such a fun concept: writers and actors get together and, over the course of 24 hours, whip up a play.

Yes, just a single day in which to come up with the idea for the work, write it, rehearse it, and perform it before an audience.

No pressure there.

Mayfly Playhouse has been making magic out of this notion for the past several Hygienic festivals. This year's results - undoubtedly, a quirky, diverse, amazing mix of results - will be staged Saturday night in the Crocker House Ballroom.
