Comcast has added eight high-definition channels to its lineup in the region. The company has announced that the Groton area, which includes the Naval Submarine Base, Ledyard, Voluntown and North Stonington, as well as the Clinton area, including Chester, Deep River, Durham, Essex, Haddam, Killingworth, Old Saybrook, Stonington and Westbrook, will see changes.
The channels are: G4 HD (Channel 1222); Travel HD (Channel 1285); E! HD (Channel 1340); Style HD (Channel 1341); TV One HD (Channel1360); Cartoon HD (Channel 1525); Tennis HD (Channel 1612), and CBS Sports HD (Channel 1721).
Two new sports pay-per-view packages also are available in the Groton area.
