Party for a Library Cat

Simon Kane, 6, of Lyme, stops by to say hello to Emma, the Lyme Public Library's 14-year-old cat, at a 10th anniversary party for Emma on Saturday. Patrons were treated to cake and other refreshments as well as a cat-themed children's craft table. Emma celebrated her anniversary by wandering the library, being adored by the library patrons, and sleeping in one of her favorite chairs.
