Connecticut Writing Project 30th Anniversary Reunion

The Connecticut Writing Project (CWP) at the University of Connecticut will be celebrating its 30th anniversary this Spring with a Reunion and Fundraising Event to be held Friday, May 11 from 5 til 8 at the University of Connecticut Alumni Center. The Keynote Speaker will be English Professor Gina Barreca. Other speakers will be English Professor Lynn Bloom and the Director of the CWP, Jason Courtmanche.
The Connecticut Writing Project began in the English Department at the University of Connecticut in 1982 by Professors Bill Rosen, Bill Sheidley, and Bill Curtin. Its goal then and now was to improve the writing instruction of teachers at all levels of education and from all disciplines.
