Schumann Lecture Series

Friday   TIME:  7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

4 friday evenings at 7pm at meigs point nature center @ hammonasset beach state park the friends of hammonasset present free programs sponsored by citizens bank. no park admission after 6:30pm. light refreshments served. 8/3- live reptile show by russ miller, MPNC director; 8/10- live exotic creatures from ct's beardsley zoo; 8/17-demo and ATLATL instruction by gary nolf from world atlatl assoc. and fosa; 8/24- live birds of prey by a place called hope. this is the 6th year of schumann series that honors robert schumann of madison, ct. he was an avid birder,former board member of the National Audubon Society and strong supporter of the friends of hammonasset. robert schumann's life will be honored oct 6/7 at the hammonasset jamboree held at hammonasset beach state park.
