Local Author Bernice L. Rocque Reading & Book Signing at Monte Cristo Bookshop

Local Author Bernice L. Rocque, a native of Norwich, Connecticut, is an educator, family historian, writer, and avid gardener. She will be giving a reading from her novella, 'Until the Robin Walks on Snow,' a work of historical fiction. The story, based on real events, is of an extremely premature baby born in rural, eastern Connecticut in November 1922, and of the immigrant family and midwife who struggled to save him.

There will be a reading followed by an author interview, and attendants will have the opportunity to purchase a copy of her book and have it signed.
