U.S. Navy Master Chief Radioman (ret.) Deen Brown, a crewmember from the USS Trout which participated in the Battle of Midway in June 1942, waits to process in as part of ceremonies commemorating the 70th anniversary of the battle Monday, June 4, 2012. The Navy Submarine School Silver Dolphins color guard stands on the deck of the Historic Ship Nautilus to present the colors. Captain Marc Denno, commanding officer of the Navy Submarine Base in Groton, delivered remarks on the battle's role in turning the tide in the Pacific theater of WWII and the West Side Middle School band played the National Anthem and Navy Hymn. The Groton ceremonies coincided with ceremonies at Naval installations around the world.
