Over the last two months "Hard Hat Painters," by the artists Mike McNabney and Troy Zaushny, who are calling themselves "Team McZaushny," has taken-shape on the Carriage House building on Golden St.

Troy Zaushny, on ground, and Mike McNabney, who bill themselves as Team McZaushny" get started on their mural "Hard Hat Painters" which will depict historical marine elements with the city's future as a center for diversity, creativity and tourism on the side of the Carriage House building on Golden St. in New London Friday, May 11, 2012. McNabney and Zaushny have been anxiously awaiting clear wether to get started. "We've been ready since April 16th," said Zaushny. "Hard Had Painters" is one of four murals that will be added to the city streetscape over the next couple of months as part of the City Canvases Project and will be part of "Wall to Wall: The New London Mural Walk," which, when completed, will include a six-block walking tour of nine murals.
