Over the months of May and June "Faces of New London: One Place, Many Cultures'' took-shape on the back side of the Hygienic stage. The mural includes portraits painted from photographs of typical New Londoners and one student from each grade in the New London middle and high schools. Local artists will be recruited to paint one square each in their own style. The work was led by Russ Kramer, a Mystic marine artist. Artists Jeff Weaver and Katie Fogg will also be part of the team.
