A crew of 15 volunteers join Duane Button harvesting sunflowers for the annual Buttonwood Farms' Sunflowers for Wishes fundraiser. Bouquets of five sunflowers are available at the Buttonwood Farms Ice Cream stand on Shetucket Turnpike in Griswold through Sunday to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation.

The fundraiser, in it's ninth year, sells bouquets of five sunflowers with the money going to the Make a Wish Foundation. Sunflowers for Wishes runs through this Sunday and will be followed by a Make a Wish Family Day at the farm on Tuesday. In addition to purchasing sunflower bouquets, guests at the farm can take wagon rides through the sunflower fields and eat sunflower ice cream.
