The Whalers, who lost twice to Woodstock during the regular season, overcame a 10-point halftime deficit and forced overtime on a basket by Keith Porter with four seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 69-69. Porter finished with 30 points to lead New London, which will be making its 10th straight trip to the title game, while DeAnte Bruton added 27, including 14 in the third quarter when the Whalers mounted their comeback in the ECC semifinal Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.
