Members of the United States Naval Academy’s Class of 1959 gathered in Groton, in Annapolis and in front of computers across the country Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, to celebrate the launching of a book about their careers and to honor the officer, retired Rear Adm. Doug Volgenau, who inspired them.
