New London — Jane Josephine Wheadon, 86, of 80 Ledyard St., died Wednesday at Beechwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born on May 13, 1913, in New London, the daughter of John and Katherine Pilat.

She was married to Wilfred Wheadon in New London in May 1941. Mr. Wheadon died in August 1971.

There are no immediate survivors. Mrs. Wheadon was predeceased by a sister, Anna Place.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St., New London. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
