    Devil's Hopyard State Park

    Town: East Haddam

    Directions: From I-95, take Exit 70, straight off ramp, following signs to Rt. 156; pass shopping centers; at second light turn right onto 156 West towards Hamburg; about 7 miles. Turn right onto Route 82 and then a quick left onto Hopyard Road. Follow signs to the park's entrance, about 4 miles in.

    Where to Park: There are two parking lots: one at the main entrance to the park and its trails and another just north of the main entrance.

    Description: The park includes a number of trails ranging in length and difficulty; be sure to consult map.

    Regulations: Pets must be on a leash. Park closes at sunset.

    Amenities: Picnic tables, composting toilets, pedestal cooking grills, handicapped parking and handicapped access to picnic tables and fishing.

    Natural Features: Chapman Falls; boulders; scenic overlook; streams; flora and fauna.

    Fees: Free.
