Federico - Martinez

Ashley Federico and Steven Martinez were married at 6:00 p.m. on Dec. 24, 2011 at the bride's home in Mystic.

Ashley Federico-Martinez is the daughter of Marlana Federico-Flockerzi and Thomas Flockerzi of Mystic. The bride is a graduate of UConn with a bachelor's degree in family studies and of Phoenix University with a master's degree in curriculum. Ashley is currently a middle school teacher in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Steven is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernardo Martinez of Florida. The groom is a graduate of Palm Beach State College with an associate's degree and is currently working as a solutions engineer with Flagship Solutions Group in Palm Beach County.

The matron of honor was Carrie Federico-Baker, sister of the bride. The best man was Paul Baker, brother-in-law of the groom. Close friends and relatives were also in attendance at the ceremony.
