Michael Perkins of Waterford and Sherry Perkins Brohel of Madison wish to announce the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents, Tom and Grace Perkins, on Feb. 24, 2012.

Thomas S. Perkins and Grace L. Nash were married Feb. 24, 1962, at the St. Mary of the Sea Roman Catholic Church in New London. They met while both working at The Day Publishing Company in New London. For most of their married life, they lived in Waterford, where for many years, they owned and operated Perkins Advertising. They have six grandchildren.

The couple plans no formal celebration, other than being with their children and close family.
