After a hard day of gardening this past weekend, my wife was sitting back enjoying a pint of beer in the backyard.
The only catch was we didn't have a cooler on hand or a bucket to put some ice in to keep the brew chilled. So my wife quickly came up with a homemade remedy that really impressed me.
She took a plastic planter-pot and added two ice packs she got after having her wisdom teeth removed. She sandwiched the beer in between the ice packs and presto: the world's quickest and easiest cooler.
The cooler may not look pretty (see above photo), but when the temperature of a fine brew is at stake anything goes.
Anybody else got good ideas for keeping a beer cool in a jam?
