We're not sure what you were doing between 1933 and 1958, but unless you're named Irving or Electa Johnson, chances are good you didn't undertake seven different husband/wife voyages around the world.
But don't be sad you missed it. On Saturday, Mystic Seaport, in partnership with film producer/sailor Gary Jobson, presents the local premiere of a documentary about the couple called "Unfurling the World: The Voyages of Irving and Electa Johnson."
In addition to their global excursions, the couple explored the inland waterways of Europe as well as remote islands - and documented these experiences extensively. Much of the Johnsons' research, data and photographs are housed at Mystic Seaport.
The screening takes place at the Olde Mistick Village Art Cinemas, and Jobson will introduce the film and briefly discuss the program.
