Lyme’s Adrien Broom exhibits in Italy
Photographer Adrien Broom has been selected to be part of the "American Dreamers" exhibit at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence from through July 15. This event, part of the celebrations honoring the Florentine navigator Amerigo Vespucci on the 500th anniversary of his death, is curated in conjunction with the Hudson River Museum, Yonkers, N.Y.
This is the first museum exhibit for the Lyme native who now resides in New Haven.
In addition to the exhibit at Palazzo Strozzi, Broom is in a two-person show, "Obscura," on view at the Tria Gallery in Chelsea, NYC, through April 28.
