The Coast Guard Band previews its tour concert

Because they have more fun than we do, the United States Coast Guard Band is gearing up for performances in Louisiana and across the south. Springtime in New Orleans and a concert in front of the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square!

What's cool, too, is the band is tweaking the repertoire with an "On Tour With the Band" performance Sunday afternoon in Leamy Hall. Expect fine interpretations of works by Sousa, Copland, John Williams, H. Owen Reed, and Scott McAllister.

Show up and support the band and, who knows, maybe they'll bring you a muffaletta.
