I started watching these two new shows because they starred "Lost" alums Michael Emerson and Jorge Garcia. On "Lost," Emerson was the scary, creepy Benjamin Linus, and Garcia the likeable lottery winner Hurley. This time, Emerson is a good guy, developing The Machine, a computer program that identifies those in danger. He comes to the rescue with the assistance of gun-toting Reese (Jim Caviezel). Garcia plays Dr. Diego Soto, a comic book store owner and Alcatraz expert, but if he ended up on a plane that crashed, he'd easily morph back to Hurley. Instead, he's working with law enforcement to figure out how the most notorious prisoners are resurfacing 50 years after Alcatraz closed.
