Join the Great Park Pursuit

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced that registration for the 2012 Great Park Pursuit Spring Sprint is underway and closes at noon on Monday, April 16. Families can register for the game at www.NoChildLeftInside.org.

The Great Park Pursuit kicks off on Saturday, April 28, at Goodwin State Forest in Hampton and concludes on May 19. The game will take Connecticut families to four state parks and forests. At each location, teams will be asked to complete a series of activities that highlight the opportunities in state parks and forests. Clues to activities and locations of the contest will be available at the end of each activity and on the No Child Left Inside website.

Teams that earn the necessary patches at each event will receive a Connecticut state park and forest season pass. The contest is open to families, which must include one person 18 or over and one person under the age of 18.
