Perhaps Andy Capp not PC enough for Day?

I don't understand the furor among the readership of The Day over who "gets" or doesn't "get" the comic "Nobody" which The Day has recently started to publish.

I get it for what there is to get, but it's poorly drawn and it just isn't funny, so I just choose to not read it.

What I don't understand however is why The Day added the poorly drawn strips "Pearls Before Swine" and "Pooch Cafe," neither of which I find remotely humorous, but doesn't offer "Andy Capp." That comic is truly funny, and while he may be considered to be a bit sexist by some....

OK, I get it.
