A Serbian factory worker inspects a Fiat 500 L Monday in the assembly hall in the new Fiat factory, in Kragujevac, some 100 kilometers south of Belgrade. Italian carmaker Fiat has opened a production line in Serbia for its new 500L family model, its popular two-door city car. Fiat hopes to sell about 160,000 hatchbacks a year produced in this central Serbian town, to take advantage of low wages, tax breaks and government subsidies.
