    Francona's Return

Who would have thought that when the Boston Red Sox celebrated their 100th year anniversary at Fenway Park the loudest ovation would go to former manager Terry Francona?

They'll cheer for Yaz, Pesky, Evans, Rice, Nomar, Nixon and many more taking part in today's festivities. Francona will still get the loudest.

The only manager to win two World Series titles in a Boston uniform and bring a championship to the city after an 86-year drought, the way he was fired and the smear campaign from the Red Sox against him after his departure and the utter failure so far of the Bobby Valentine experiment are all reasons of why it will happen today and in my opinion should happen today.

I'm sure initially Tito was totally against the idea of coming back to Boston because the wounds are still fresh from the organization/management but hearing the cheers from the Fenway Faithful today will be a great way to close his Red Sox chapter. One last thank you from the fans. In my opinion, he deserves every second of it.
