The April 15 letter from a Niantic reader headlined, "Wake up, recognize a failed presidency," (April 15), was right on target, but some years too late. It should have run after the President George W. Bush administration led us into a very costly and unnecessary war against Iraq and subsequently led us into the most severe recession since World War II.
