Letter-writer had best advice

I have just finished reading the April 22 letter, "Stop all the fight and try to listen," in which the writer notes that left-wingers vs. right-wingers, tea partyers vs. Occupy Wall Streeters should all stop fighting and be still to listen.
The writer's final words are, "Somewhere, noiselessly amidst this clamorous din, the sad, patient voice of Jesus implores us to be silent so that for once, just for once, we might open our hearts to hear what he has to say on the matter."
To that I heartily add, "Amen."
